We started with a scalp problem. Scalp First was born out of frustration. Our founder, Dr. Alice Srivastava, couldn't find a hair oil made with pure, honest ingredients that targeted her scalp type and hair concerns. So she created one.

In 2022, Dr. Alice Srivastava was dealing with scalp inflammation, occasional dandruff, and persistent hair thinning despite trying every product on the market. As a doctor, she understood the science but couldn't find products that truly applied it.
She began formulating blends at home, combining time-tested active ingredients with pure base oils, and it worked for her. She then started creating scalp-specific oils for her family, friends, and neighbors, adjusting each blend based on scalp type and hair concerns. Sometimes she infused ingredients like onion and curry leaves to find what worked best.
That's how her scalp-specific hair oils were created. Today, most of her users have healthier scalps and hair, and she serves over 500 customers across India.
